Following a traffic collision last night when part of the signals was damaged and highways operatives attended to make good the traffic sign cabling it appears there hacve been a number of near misses from vehicles coming down ElsdenRd on green nearly colliding with vehicles coming up Midland Road towards the rail station

Reported via desktop in the Request Timing Review category anonymously at 15:18, Wednesday 2 October 2024

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6543295.

As tthere have been a number of near misses today which is unusual i wonder if the signals can be checked for correct sequencing - neighbours suspect that both Elsden Road and Midland Road signals may be on green at the same time causing the near misses
