It's not a road, it's a rollercoaster

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6432519.

The road is a disgrace. The amount of times the road surface has been botched in the last year is a complete and utter waste of taxpayers money. The latest repair has already begun to collapse. The road surface is more akin to what you find on a rollercoaster. One day someone will get killed because of this. The whole roundabout basically is a bloody death trap. Instead of dodging it. Can it be repaired properly.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the NNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 126.2 days.

  • This road has now blown. Even Neil Armstrong would struggle to land the lunar module on this section now. This pothole is now a tyre killer and also a motorbike killer. 26 weeks to repair. That's a joke. Or an insult take your pick. The damage is being done as lorries drive over the road. You can actually see how the carriageway is folding over.
