  • On a normal ‘summer’s days breeze’ theee signs/barriers fall over so a little bit of strong wind last night has wrecked them. Consequently, the site of the sink hole is NOT SAFE!!

At least twice I’ve spoken with council/contractors visiting the site. Each time they’ve been surprised just how big the cavity is under the road (bigger than the area that’s coned-off) and rack time they’ve said that more robust signs/barriers are needed and that they report it as such. Still nothing other than the flimsy lightweight cones/signs/barriers.

If you’re going to keep delaying the repair of this dangerous sink hole, at least make the site safe with proper, robust barriers and signage!!

  • Is this 28 days from when the fault was first reported??? July 18th was the first report date. It is ridiculous how long it has taken to get this problem resolved.
