PRoW PH6 access obstructed

Reported via desktop in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 16:15, Fri 16 August 2024

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6365376.

With reference to report number is 6348842.

I thought you would send this response to the above report, so I discussed this issue with the Definitive Map Team before reporting the issue, they were the ones saying raise a report to have the obstructions removed as it is illegal, also PH6 does not go through 2 bodies of water if anything it stops at the waters edge, meaning a member of the public has the right to pass and repass along a right of way.

  • Investigation: Completed (Reported to another department within NNC) - We are working with the Definitive Map Team to divert this route. At this time it would not be practical to open up the route at this location as the route is is further obstructed by a large body of water.
