Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 6181880.

No effort has been made to keep the footpaths clear. Waist high crops and brambles make the footpaths around this area unusable.

  • Investigation: Completed (Reported to a third party) - We can confirm that the first section of this Public Footpath is on our annual Rights of Way mowing programme, which is currently being undertaken and is carried out twice a year during the peak growing season. In regards to the crop obstruction, we can confirm that the landowner has been contacted regarding this matter and has been reminded of their statutory responsibilities to ensure that all Rights of Way that cross their arable land are kept clear (and marked out) within the next 14 days and to remain clearly marked out on the ground all year round.
