This has to be an immediate urgent vegetation clearance. The cycleway runs along the A43between Broughton and Kettering where sections of the road have speed limits of 60 - 50 - 40 miles an hour. The route is part of the National Cycle Network. I request that this is cleared of vegetation very urgently. Cllr Jim Hakewill.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the NNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 113.4 days. We have taken into account that the vegetation has been pre-trimmed however we have still scheduled these to be cut back.
