Overgrown verges

Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category by Cllr Jim Hakewill at 22:42, Sunday 19 May 2024

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 5994175.

Urgent I read this on social media it is the crossroads between Pytchley and the A43 and Between Broughton and Orlingbury.

“It is particularly dangerous at the moment as the grass on the verges has not been cut; coming from Pytchley, you have to pull out well over the white line to see if anything is coming from the Orlingbury direction. As many using the road are well over the 40mph speed limit, it is an accident waiting to happen.”

There were posts about an accident having occurred today Sunday.
