The repair crew came today. With a disc cutter they squared up the defect and lifted out most of the old tarmac. They brushed the rest, and dust into the deeper part of the hole. New tarmac applied, but it has nothing to stick down to because of the dust. Why wasn’t the hole cleaned out and primed? The new tarmac is only 2cm thick and will dislodge very quickly. The black tape around the perimeter had been pulled off by traffic before the crew left. All very disappointing.
