Road flooding
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council 4 days, 27 minutes later. ref: 5928307.
There is insufficient drainage from the gravel lay-by area along the edge of Hardwick road. In any rain a very large puddle forms crossing most of the lane in the direction of Wellingborough. This is highly dangerous due to risk of cars losing control or more regularly being forced across into the incoming traffic. In winter the water remains well after rain and regularly freezes causing a skid risk.

Issue remains. Recent rains have shown how bad it is. Puddle stays half way across carriageway long after rain stops. As soon as freezing conditions return this presents a significant accident risk.

No change to situation. With recent rain and snow, issues continues with vehicles forces across carriageway and now ice forming around and after puddle in winter conditions.

No change to issue. In recent wet weather puddle is causing an obstruction. Also, when it was cold, the whole road was covered with ice.

Repair scheduled to be completed within 28 days as per previous feedback has not been performed. In recent icy conditions, risk has been significant due to prolonged water pooling at this point.
