Road markings ,yellow lines needed outside the block of flats
Reported via mobile in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 17:30, Thu 25 April 2024
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council 15 hours, 42 minutes later. ref: 5899522.
I live at 13 Avon Works Avondale Road..We have a carpark with electric gates. However either side of the entrance and across the road cars park simetimes pver the gates entrance, 8which makes leaving the carpark extremely dangerous as you can't see up the road or down the road to see if there are any traffic heading towards you. Yellow lines have been painted either side of other Apartment Blocks carparks for safety reasons in Kettering. Please can we have lines to prevent an accident as you drive out of here not knowing if it's safe to do so. Thankyou.

Still dangerous to pull put of the gates with cars parked either side and across the road. You can't see whether it is safe to do so and if there are any vehicles or cyclists coming towards you. A few of the residents park outside now on the road so they don't have to. That in turn makes it worse for residents that park correctly in their car park space. Yellow line or double lines are desperately needed to avoid an accident happening. You can't even trust listening out now for car engines as the electric cars are silent as are electric scooters and bicycles.
