Bull in Field misleading sign

Reported via desktop in the Livestock category anonymously at 17:07, Tue 16 April 2024

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 5861596.

At the entrance gate to the field a *Bull in Field* sign is fixed, not illegal to have but when there are no cattle in the field, has tall grass and the cattle have been indoors since November the sign should have been removed whilst not bull is in the field.

A sign 'Bull in field' when there was not a bull in the field could also be misleading. This is a fineable offence under section 57 of the National Parks & Access to the Countryside Act 1949, and the highway authority can initiate prosecutions in the magistrates’ court.

This report is now closed to updates from the public. You can make a new report in the same location.
