Ruts in grass verge due to parking
Reported via mobile in the Verges - Damaged by Vehicles category anonymously at 18:13, Sun 14 April 2024
Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 5851146.
I have already reported this, and you have replied that there nothing you can do as there are no parking restrictions there. I think something could be done to tidy this area up. If someone tripped or slipped, on the uneven surface, they could be badly injured. Also this is on the walking route of the Waendel Walk, in May, and does not give not a good impression, to all our International visitors, of Wellingborough. I believe the Embankment paths are in similar state. You ask for us to report any problems we see, we think they are important, so don't give off the cuff comments like there is no parking restrictions, so drivers can do what they like.
