Several large potholes

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Kevin smith at 20:55, Sunday 13 September 2026

Sent to North Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 10092216.

Why do you keep opening and then closing these reports without providing any explanation or taking any action?

These issues have now been reported for nearly a year and still remain unresolved. I find it completely unacceptable that reports are repeatedly being closed without any meaningful response or remedial work being carried out.

If my vehicle sustains any damage as a result of these ongoing road defects, I will hold the council/highways authority responsible and will seek to recover the costs, including through legal action if necessary.

I would therefore ask that these reports are properly investigated and that I receive a clear explanation as to why they continue to be closed without the underlying issues being resolved.
