Yellow lines missing

URGENT COMPLAINT – Missing/Faded Yellow Lines Outside Nisa Local Finedon

Dear North Northamptonshire Council Highways Team,

I am writing on behalf of Nisa Local Finedon to raise a formal and urgent complaint regarding the missing and severely faded yellow road markings outside/near our shop.

Because the yellow lines are no longer clearly visible, vehicles are regularly parking in areas where parking should be restricted. This is creating significant problems for our business, including obstruction to the shop, difficulties with deliveries and loading/unloading, reduced visibility for vehicles and pedestrians, and disruption for our customers.

This is not simply an appearance or maintenance issue. The lack of clear road markings is contributing to a road safety and access problem, particularly when vehicles park in inappropriate locations because the restrictions are not clearly marked.

As a local business serving the community every day, we need the road markings around the premises to be clearly visible and properly maintained.

We therefore request that the Council:

1. Inspect the road markings as a matter of urgency. 2. Repaint/reinstate the missing or faded yellow lines as soon as possible. 3. Review whether any additional measures are required to prevent vehicles from causing dangerous or obstructive parking around the shop.

Please register this as a formal complaint/highway maintenance request and provide us with a reference number and an expected timeframe for inspection and remedial work.

We would appreciate urgent attention to this matter before the situation results in an accident or further disruption to our business and the local community.
